Soccer Star Welsh Athlete Ramsey Increases Reward for Lost Canine in Mexico to $$20k
Welsh soccer player Aaron Ramsey has increased the incentive for leads regarding the missing pet named Halo to fifteen thousand pounds.
Ex- Premier League club Arsenal and Cardiff City player, who currently represents Pumas UNAM in Mexico City, revealed that the beagle was last seen in a Mexican town, located in the Guanajuato zone.
the dog, who went missing on 9 October, was had on a dog tracker collar, and Ramsey published a map pinpoint of her last known location.
"Any sort of news concerning our pet Halo kindly contact us. Substantial incentive for locating her. We are all wishing she's ok and comes home with us quickly," Ramsey wrote on Instagram.
Initial Offer and Emotional Appeals
Ramsey initially disclosed that Halo had disappeared 14 days prior and has since uploaded multiple pictures of the beloved pet on his social media account.
A £7,500 incentive was first offered, but with no news on the dog's whereabouts after a week, Ramsey and his loved ones doubled the reward.
"All we desire is our girl back," he expressed in an additional appeal on his online platforms after the decade-old pet disappeared.
The most recent photograph share is a grayscale photo of Halo snoozing, its head lying in the crook of the athlete's arm, with the message: "How I wish to hold you again Halo."
Family's Worries and Context
The footballer has also shared a statement from his spouse Mrs. Ramsey on social media saying they have some "serious questions" regarding the incident and fear the family "may never get answers".
"We have yet to have not located Halo. I don't think we will ever," his wife's post expressed.
The Wales captain joined Mexican top-flight team Pumas UNAM earlier this year and had his inaugural match in the Mexican league in August.
